Officials in the United States have revealed that decomposing a body found in a vehicle linked to singer D4vd belong to a missing 15-year-old female.

Police personnel located the body of Celeste Rivas inside the boot of an seized Tesla on 8 September, after responding to complaints of a foul smell at a Hollywood tow yard.

Investigators stated that both the cause and time of her death are still unknown.

Rivas, from Lake Elsinore in California, was 13 at the moment of her disappearance and was last seen on April 5, 2024, as stated in a missing person flyer.

Previously, police noted that the Tesla had probably been at the tow yard for "several days" before the finding.

The car, which has a Texas registration, was removed from the Hills area after being left five days prior.

The automobile is registered to 20-year-old David Anthony Burke, the official name of singer D4vd.

Last week, the coroner's office stated that the individual whose remains were found was 5ft 2in tall, had wavy black hair, and was wearing a tube top and black leggings.

It was added that the body had a tattoo on the right forefinger that said: "Shhh."

The body were not intact, and it appeared the teen had been dead for an extended duration of time, according to police sources.

D4vd, who has a large number of fans on social media, is best known for his popular hits "Here With Me" and "Romantic Homicide".

He released his first album in April and was touring when the body were found in the Tesla. The concert scheduled show in Seattle on Wednesday was called off.

Police say that D4vd is co-operating with the inquiry.
